2016

The 2016 Corvette promos were manufactured by H & S Development Ltd. Both coupes and convertibles were produced this year. The 2016 coupe and convertible promo bodies were made from the same molds as the 2014-2015 Corvette promos. The coupe bodies were molded as 1 piece of white plastic with separate mirrors, rear valance and greenhouse panel. These Arctic White coupe bodies were unpainted with black accents added. The greenhouse panel was made of clear plastic and incorporated the roof, windshield, rear window and the entire hatch area. The greenhouse panel had the roof and hatch area painted Arctic White. The greenhouse panel was attached to the body with 4 black phillips head screws from underneath. The convertible bodies were molded as 1 piece of dark orange plastic with separate mirrors, rear valance and rear deck/trunk panel. These dark orange convertible bodies were painted Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic with black accents. The rear deck/trunk panel was also molded in dark orange plastic and painted Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic with black accents. The panel was attached to the body with 2 black phillips head screws from underneath. The clear plastic windshield was a separate piece on the convertibles and was attached to the body with 2 black phillips head screws from underneath. The rear license plate on both coupes and convertibles read "2016". The seats were snapped onto the interior tub, which was then pressed onto the chassis. The steering wheel was glued to the dash, which was then pressed onto the underside of the body. The rear valance was molded in black plastic and glued to the body. The 2016 Corvette convertible promos had chrome wheels with 5 double spokes. The 2016 Corvette coupe promos had black wheels with 5 double spokes. The blackwall tires had no lettering molded into the sidewalls. The chassis was molded in black plastic and attached to the body with 2 black phillips head screws.
