2006

The 2006 Corvette promos were manufactured by Revell. Three different body styles were offered this year: convertibles, coupes and Z06 coupes. There weren't any notable changes to the convertible body from the previous year. Other than the roof, the coupes were essentially like the convertibles. The Z06 coupes had many differences including: vents were added in front of the rear wheels, the air extractors in the lower front fenders were enlarged, "Z06" emblems were added to both front fenders and headrests, a "GM" emblem was added to the left rear quarter panel, a small spoiler was added on top of the rear bumper, fender flares were added behind the rear wheels and in front of the front wheels and the front bumper was redesigned with a lower chin and a small air scoop behind the "crossed flags" emblem. All three body styles were molded as 1 piece of plastic with separate mirrors. The convertible bodies were molded in either blue or dark red plastic. The blue convertible bodies were painted "LeMans Blue Metallic". The dark red convertible bodies were painted "Monterey Red Metallic". The coupe bodies were molded in either black or light gray plastic. The black coupe bodies were painted "Black". The light gray coupe bodies were painted "Machine Silver Metallic". The Z06 coupe bodies were molded in dark orange, yellow or white plastic. The dark orange Z06 coupe bodies were painted "Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic". The yellow Z06 coupe bodies were painted "Velocity Yellow". The white Z06 coupe bodies were painted "Arctic White" with blue metallic and red accents. These red/white/blue Z06 coupes were detailed with Indy Pace Car graphics, a "CHEVROLET" windshield banner, a light bar on the roof and a red Chevy bow-tie on the hood and rear license plate. The interior pieces were unchanged from the previous year. The interior tub, rear wall, speaker panel (only for convertibles), seats, seat backs, dash, gauge panel, shifter, door panels, steering column and steering wheel were all separate pieces. These parts formed the interior assembly. The clear plastic windows and interior assembly were inserted into the underside of the body. The rear license plate was printed on the body and (except for the Indy Pace Cars) read "2006". The coupes and convertibles used the same style chrome plated 5 spoke wheels as the 2005s. The Z06 coupes had twin 5 spoke wheels that were chrome plated. The blackwall tires had no lettering molded into the sidewall. The chassis was molded in black plastic and attached to the body with 4 black philips head screws.

Boxes: The 2006 Corvette promos came in white boxes with black artwork. The promo was wired to a cardboard tray inside.
