2007The 2007 Corvette promos were manufactured by Revell. Three different body styles were offered this year: convertibles, coupes and Z06 coupes. The 2007 bodies were made from the same molds as the 2006s. All three body styles were molded as 1 piece of plastic with separate mirrors. The coupe bodies were molded in either orange or red plastic. The orange coupe bodies were painted "Atomic Orange Metallic". The red coupe bodies were painted "Victory Red". The convertible bodies were molded in black, yellow or orange plastic. The black convertible bodies were painted "Black". The yellow convertible bodies were painted "Velocity Yellow". The orange convertible bodies were painted "Atomic Orange Metallic" and detailed with Indy Pace Car graphics, a "CHEVROLET" windshield banner and a tan Chevy bow-tie on the hood and rear license plate. The Z06 coupe bodies were molded in white plastic and painted "Arctic White" with blue and red stripes. These Z06 coupes were detailed with Daytona Pace Car graphics, a light bar on the roof, a "CHEVROLET" windshield banner and a red Chevy bow-tie on the hood and rear license plate. The notable interior change from the previous year was the steering wheel. The 2007s had a 3 spoke design (2005-2006s had a 4 spoke steering wheel). The interior tub, rear wall, speaker panel (only for convertibles), seats, seat backs, dash, gauge panel, shifter, door panels, steering column and steering wheel were all separate pieces. These parts formed the interior assembly. The clear plastic windows and interior assembly were inserted into the underside of the body. The rear license plate was printed on the body and (except for the Pace Cars) read "2007". The (non-pace car) coupes and convertibles used the same style 5 spoke wheels as the 2005-2006s. The Z06 Daytona Pace Cars had twin 5 spoke wheels like the 2006 Z06 coupes. The Indy Pace Car convertibles also had a twin 5 spoke wheel, but it was slightly different than the Z06 coupes. All three styles of wheels were chrome plated. The blackwall tires had no lettering molded into the sidewall. The chassis was molded in black plastic and attached to the body with 4 black philips head screws. Boxes: The 2007 Corvette promos came in white boxes with black artwork. The promo was wired to a cardboard tray inside. Note: The interiors of Revell C6 Corvette promos are very easy to interchange. This website shows all the factory interior/exterior combinations for 2005-2007 Corvette Promos. Any combination not shown on this website was altered after it left the factory.
