2004

The 2004 Corvette promos were manufactured by Revell. There were 3 different bodies styles offered this year: coupes, convertibles and Z06 hardtops. All three body styles were unchanged from 2003 to 2004. The bodies were molded as 1 piece of plastic with separate mirrors. The rear license plate was a blank separate piece that was glued to the body. The coupe bodies were molded in white plastic and painted either "Machine Silver Metallic" or "Magnetic Red Metallic II". The convertible bodies were molded in either white or black plastic. The black convertible bodies were clear coated. The white convertible bodies were painted either "LeMans Blue Metallic" or two-toned "Arctic White" over "LeMans Blue Metallic". The two-toned convertibles received Indy Pace Car graphics, an "AN AMERICAN REVOLUTION" windshield banner and a "crossed flags" decal on a black rear license plate. The Z06 hardtop bodies were molded in white plastic and painted "LeMans Blue Metallic". All of the Z06 hardtops received "Commemorative Edition" stripes. There weren't any notable interior changes from the previous year. The coupes and convertibles had different seats than the Z06 hardtops. The interior tub, seats, seat backs, dash, shifter, door panels and steering wheel were all separate pieces. These parts formed the interior assembly. The clear plastic windows and interior assembly were inserted into the underside of the body. The front license plate read "CORVETTE". Other than the Indy Pace Cars, the rear license plate was a "2004" decal (on a blank body colored plate). The coupes and convertibles used the same style chrome plated wheels as the 2000-2003s. These wheels had 5 thin spokes and resembled the optional high polished wheels. The Z06 hardtops received chrome Z06 style wheels. The blackwall tires had no lettering molded into the sidewall. The chassis was the same as the 2003s, except it was printed "2004 CORVETTE" "USED UNDER LICENSE". The chassis was attached to the body with 4 black philips/straight head screws.

Boxes: The 2004 Corvette promos came in white boxes with black artwork. The promo was wired to a cardboard tray inside.
